Some friendships are built on trust, some on shared creative visions—and some on absolute, unfiltered chaos. MCR-T and Frederic. have known each other since their teenage years, and their dynamic is the perfect mix of brotherly roasting, deep mutual respect, and an ability to call each other out in the most entertaining way possible.
We caught up with them at Glitch Festival for a game of “Who’s Most Likely To?” Turns out, they were brutally honest—no one was safe.
Who’s Most Likely to… Stay Out the Longest?
Before the question even fully left our lips, Frederic. pointed at MCR-T.
“This guy? He doesn’t leave the club. He IS the club.”
MCR-T shrugged, grinning.
“Listen, I just don’t like going home. Home is boring.”
Frederic. rolled his eyes, “You say that now, but then you call me at 8 AM like ‘Bro, I lost my USBs, my phone’s dead, and I need somewhere to crash.’”
Who’s Most Likely to Get Kicked Out of a Club?
They both took a suspiciously long pause. Then, simultaneously pointed at each other.
“Okay, okay. Let’s be real. It’s me.” —MCR-T
Who’s Most Likely to Show Up Late to a Set?
Again, immediate agreement: MCR-T.
“Man, it’s not my fault! Time is a construct.”
Frederic. didn’t let that slide.
“You say that, but you also text me ‘I’m on my way’ when you haven’t even showered yet.”
It’s all love, though—because when MCR-T finally shows up, he delivers.
Who’s Most Likely to Drop the Most Unexpected Track?
This one was a debate. Both of them have a reputation for chaotic selections.
“I mean, I once played Britney Spears in a peak-time set, so…” —Frederic.
“Yeah, but I’ve played country music at Berghain, so…” —MCR-T
It’s clear that neither of them are afraid to mess with the crowd’s expectations.
“A good set should surprise you. If you’re not shocked at least once, was it even fun?”
Chaos, Friendship & Always Pushing Limits
Between the jokes, the roasting, and the ridiculous stories, one thing is clear—MCR-T and Frederic. are the definition of real ones.
They’ve been through it all together—from teenage raves to some of the biggest stages in techno today. Their energy is infectious, and their approach to music? Unapologetic, unfiltered, and always fun.
As Frederic. put it:
“We take music seriously. But ourselves? Never.”
And that’s exactly why they keep winning.
